FAQ - Do you sell helmets?
Answer - No I don't sorry, you purchase a helmet and send it to me. I prefer not to get involved in the helmet fitting you correctly part of this, the folks who retail helmets are experts at that.

FAQ - What color helmet works best and should the helmet be solid color or can it have factory graphics on it.
Answer - Any solid color helmet is fine generally we will be changing the base color anyway. I can paint a helmet that already has graphics on it but it makes it more expensive for you as it requires more work, it's best to buy a plain solid color helmet.

\Pay attention to where the vents are when purchasing as helmet and try and envision if they would interfer with the design you have in mind. The more vents I have to deal with the more expensive it becomes for you as they require more work.

The helmet is the canvas the artwork will be painted on providing me with a goiod quiality canvas to start out with will provide for better end results.

The fact a helmet is poorly constructed, made of plastic or other inexpesive materials can not be covered up with paint to make the helmet look other than it is "a cheap helmet". My paint is only as good as what's under neath it a cheap, inexpensive helmet will always look like what it is (a cheap helmet) no matter how much paint is applied to it.

Beyond that it's your head you are protecting buy a good quailty helmet.

Answer - If the helmet is in that condition for your own safety you should purchase a new helmet, I do not repair helmets I custom paint them.

FAQ - How do we come up with the final design for my helmet? Will you copy another custom painter's helmet design I like?
Answer- If you are thinking about having your helmet custom painted I would think in part it's so you're helmet design will be unique so why settle for coping someone else's helmet design. If you send me four or five examples of helmets you like I can generally come up with a unique design you can call all your own. We can work together via e-mails to come up with a final design you will be happy with.

FAQ - How long does it usually take to have a helmet custom painted?
Answer - After I have received the helmet and the final design is worked out two weeks in most cases.

FAQ - Will you clear coat the helmet?
Answer - Yes I use only the best custom paints and clear coats on the market and that would be House of Kolor. The art work, graphics will be buried within the clear so when you touch the helmet you will not feel the edge's; your helmet will be returned to you with a glass like shiny finish.
